another reflection from a year ago:

august 9, 2004--

life in a nutshell. i seem to have a shell full of fleeting moments. when will i be able to hold onto anything or make something for myself?


i seem to have made progress in that department. i won't count my chickens, though. i am enjoying life, however.


joey & belinda have moved on to watching freaks & geeks. i really adore that show. next comes undeclared (mm hmm). maybe it's a good thing that these amazing tv shows only lasted one season before meeting that squashing fate. if there were more dvd sets, i might not ever see the light of day. :) also, i adore martin starr. i don't want to know anything about his craft...whether bill haverchuck is his real personality or some form conjured for acting purposes. i'll just place him very high on my all-time favorite tv characters list.

speaking of tv, there's only 2 episodes left of six feet under. i started watching this again this season (i religiously watched s. 1 & 2...they were amazing...this is an amazing show, i think) and it's my luck it's the final season, forever and ever amen. i don't know if any of you kids out there watch it, but i have a big WHAT THE FUCK shoutout to alan ball. the spoilers i've spotted are turning this great show into one big assful soap opera. dude, i watching all my children every day. i get my soapy fix. give me good drama and good acting with great writing.

1 can pumpkin
a wee bit of water

mix well, spray your muffin thing or use the cups and bake for 20-22 mins on 350.
